Directorate Of Intelligence

Established in December 2019, the primary responsibility revolves around the collection, exchange, and use of intelligence.

They furnish other components with credible, actionable intelligence in the target profile analysis, market profiles, criminal business profiles, net worth analysis, operational intelligence assessment, and risk analysis, facilitating proactive policing and targeting/disruption of criminal networks in drug trafficking and production. Established in 2021, the primary duty is projecting the image of NDLEA and its leadership. It directly handles the relationship between the public and the media. The Directorate of Media & Advocacy produces NDLEA Today, a quarterly magazine and weekly Television series of the same title.
