Three Premier League matches this weekend could end in shocking outcomes

On Friday night, the summer transfer window closed, and now clubs can get back to playing in the competition.

There are a few of Premier League games this weekend that could be entertaining.

Teams will be aiming to get a win on the final day of matches before the international break.

But which three games might have surprising outcomes?

1. we have Arsenal taking on Brighton. Both clubs have gotten off to winning starts this season. Therefore, in the early Emirates kickoff, something will have to give. The victory against Aston Villa last weekend was, perhaps, a stroke of luck for Arsenal. The outcome of the game could have been different if Ollie Watkins had scored from within the penalty area prior to Leandro Trossard’s opening goal. If the Gunners fail to score early, Brighton might be very angry.

2. West Ham vs. Manchester City: Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City team isn’t known for having a stellar start to the season. On Saturday, though, they will play West Ham in a late kickoff after winning their last two games. After suffering a setback, Julian Lopetegui’s Hammers returned to form with a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace. If City aren’t brutal at the London Stadium, they risk losing ground in the standings.

3. Crystal Palace vs. Chelsea: Last Saturday, Chelsea pounded Wolves 6-2, a performance that would have inspired Enzo Maresca and the Blues’ support base. The Blues, nevertheless, were dragged crashing down to earth in the UEFA Conference League play-off second leg with a 2-1 loss to Servette. There is clearly still a long way to go, as that outcome made quite clear. This might be a difficult one at Stamford Bridge, especially considering Palace’s desperation to get points.
